Double cashback? Why stop there...

I decided to transfer my credit card balance over to a new card to save me throwing money away on interesting, so after a quick check with the money saving expert I decided to go for a Texaco card. During the sign up, I chose to give up any cash back rewards in favour of a better interest rate - but the next page still proudly boasts:

Cashback Rewards: 0.00% You can DOUBLE this rate for purchases made at Texaco sites.

Seems like a fairly basic UI blooper there, not that it breaks anything of course - just makes them look a bit poor. Although it was slightly amusing, so it's not all bad :)

Dr Pepper & Chocolate Orange

Seeing as I can't really think of anything to post, and I've just had a conversation about chocolate oranges and beer - I thought I'd post another couple of drinks recipes that you're more likely to be able to get in a pub :)

Chocolate Orange

• 1 glass of fresh orange juice


• 2 shots of Tia Maria

The taste is pretty close to good old terry's chocolate orange, so very yummy.

Dr Pepper

• 1/2 Pint Coke


• 1/2 Pint lager (Fosters or Carling seems to work best for this one)


• 1 shot of Amaretto

As you can probably guess, this one tastes a lot like Dr Pepper. So if you like that, you'll like this :)
